Our Defense Skills Growth Training (SGT) training not only focuses on the fundamentals of 1v1 On Ball defense, but understanding how to play Off Ball, Communication as well as Ball Handling during clearing, and transition situations.
Defenders need the proper foundation and fundamentals before they can understand how and when to throw that check.
Our Coaches have coached every age defender and produced D1, D2 and D3 athletes. What does that mean? It means that every player is different. They all learn at different paces whether it’s Tyker, Lightning, Midget or High School. You can’t teach them all the same. Every player develops differently and our coaches know how to break it down no matter their age.
We help them develop into an all around dominating defender! Our advanced training is fast paced, with high reps, helping players learn how to play on ball from any spot within the restraining box, and finally how to get that ground ball and clear!
Our training progresses from the first session/set of skills to build confidence! Combine that with lacrosse IQ and it equals an IMPACT PLAYER!
